Discover the illustrated world of HFC Paris at FISENCE Barcelona, among a growing selection of exceptional perfume houses
HFC Paris approaches fragrance with the imagination of a fashion illustrator. A sketch, a gesture, an imagined character: these are the starting points of a house whose full name, Haute Fragrance Company, reflects its affinity with couture. Its creative premise gives perfume a role in the way we compose our appearance, express a mood and inhabit a particular version of ourselves.

The project brings together perfumers including Vincent Ricord and Benoît Bergia, alongside illustrators such as Megan Hess, Arturo Elena and Kim Xu. This collective structure helps explain HFC's identity. Drawing and fragrance share the task of suggesting a personality through carefully chosen details. An illustrated silhouette and a perfume accord can both establish an atmosphere before its story has fully unfolded.
Devil’s Intrigue offers an intimate expression of that idea. Osmanthus and white tea introduce orange blossom and sandalwood, followed by rice milk, vanilla and amber woods. Its published composition suggests a study in softness, with floral, milky and woody elements creating overlapping textures. The provocative name adds another dimension to this gentle palette, leaving room for ambiguity and imagination.
Wear Love Everywhere explores a more openly romantic vocabulary. Berries and pink pepper accompany rose, magnolia, iris and violet, supported by vanilla, white musk and sandalwood. The architecture is generous in its floral detail. Read through the house's connection to fashion, it suggests the pleasure of dressing with colour: expressive, carefully composed and emotionally immediate.
In Wrap Me in Dreams, rum, cherry and dried fruits lead into patchouli, woody accords and tonka bean, with vanilla, musk and powdery notes in the base. The structure gives gourmand perfumery a layered setting, combining fruit and sweetness with woods and powder. Its name supplies an evocative frame for this composition: fragrance imagined as something enveloping, almost textile in its associations.
Great Way extends the narrative towards travel. Inspired by the Silk Road, it brings together cardamom, ginger, saffron and Sichuan pepper, followed by magnolia, date and accords of cannabis and ambergris, over sandalwood, ambroxan and oud. The breadth of this palette supports the theme of exchange and discovery, allowing spices, fruit, flowers and woods to participate in the same journey.

Read together, these compositions suggest an emotional wardrobe. Romance, reverie, intimacy and adventure become different ways of approaching the collection. HFC's appeal lies in the conversation between what a fragrance contains and what its imagery invites us to imagine. The bottle establishes a character; wearing the perfume gives that character a personal interpretation.

In Spain, and specifically in Barcelona, HFC Paris can be discovered at FISENCE. Its arrival enriches a growing selection that also includes Eredi Zucca, Carthusia, OJAR, Marrakech Impérial and Discothèque. For those drawn to perfume's expressive possibilities, FISENCE offers a compelling place to explore these different creative voices—and to find the one that feels most naturally their own.
