On June 2, 2025, the city saw the opening of its first monobrand Montale and Mancera Parfums boutique at 127 Rambla Catalunya, a project led by 5th Essence Square, a key player in the international distribution of niche fragrances and author cosmetics.

Located on one of Barcelona’s most emblematic avenues, at the corner of Rambla Catalunya and Carrer de Córcega, the boutique presents itself as a true temple of contemporary perfumery, conceived to offer a complete and deeply immersive sensory experience.

Spanning 220 square meters, it is the largest boutique of the house in Europe. The space pays tribute to classic Parisian elegance, with an aesthetic inspired by the Haussmann style, where noble woods, gold leaf, bronze elements, and carefully designed interior architecture come together to elevate the discovery of fragrance into an artistic experience.

Every detail has been designed to accompany visitors on a personalized olfactory journey, where the intensity and mystery of Eastern compositions engage in a dialogue with the sophistication of Western perfumery. The result is an environment that invites one to pause, explore, and be guided by emotion.

Beyond its aesthetic dimension, this new space stands out for offering exclusive creations available only at this boutique. From Montale, visitors will discover previously unreleased fragrances, a selection of body creams, and a special collection of 250-gram scented candles, crafted in France using high-quality raw materials.

These candles—true objects of sensory art-reinterpret some of the maison’s most emblematic essences, such as Rose Elixir, Arabians Tonka, Black Aoud, Intense Café, and Aoud Queen Roses, conceived to transform any space into an intimate, warm, and enveloping refuge.

Within the Mancera universe, visitors can explore the house’s complete fragrance collection, including an exclusive 60 ml edition created especially for this Barcelona location. Montale and Mancera represent two distinct yet complementary interpretations of author perfumery. Founded in 2003 by Pierre Montale, Montale is synonymous with intensity, opulence, and mystery, blending French savoir-faire with deep Eastern inspiration.

Mancera, born in 2008 from the collaboration between Pierre Montale and his daughter Amélie, proposes a more contemporary and structured vision of olfactory luxury. Since 2017, Amélie has led the brand’s creative direction, bringing a modern aesthetic inspired by Art Deco and a refined visual architecture in which each bottle is conceived as a balance of form, color, and material.
